You don’t need to go to hospital to have minor surgical procedures – we can help. Our doctors can perform minor surgical procedures on site.
We can perform minor operations at our clinic
There are some common conditions that require minor surgical procedures. Fortunately, you don’t need to go to the hospital for these, even for some minor procedures that require local anaesthesia.
We can remove ingrown toenails, moles, skin tags and warts, in our clinic. Additionally, we can also insert IUDs including those for emergency contraceptive.
List of minor surgical procedures available:
- Skin tag removal
- Ingrown toenail surgery
- IUD/Mirena insertion
- Liquid nitrogen
- Mole removal
- Steroid Injection
- Other common minor surgeries
Furthermore, your doctor will be able to advise you on whether you are a suitable candidate for minor operations at our clinic.
The good news is, it’s easy to have minor surgery close to your Flat Bush home.
However, if your procedure needs specialist care, we can also refer you on to the right specialist consultant like a plastic surgeon or a gynaecologist.
State-of-the-art procedure rooms
Ormiston Medical Centre was completed in 2021 and features fully equipped, modern treatment rooms. Subsequently, we are fully equipped to conduct minor procedures that only require local anaesthetic.
It’s good to know that our friendly team of doctors and nurses will take care of you before, during and after your minor surgery.
Finally, if you have any questions about minor surgical procedures, we’d love to hear them.
