We are thrilled to introduce Victoriya, the latest addition to the Ormiston Medical Centre family. With a rich clinical background, a genuine passion for patient relationships, and a personal commitment to health and wellbeing, Victoriya brings a wonderful depth of experience and warmth to our practice.
From Urgent Care to Continuity of Care
Victoriya’s journey into general practice is one shaped by a desire for balance — both professionally and personally. After spending a significant portion of her career working in South Auckland’s busy urgent care clinics, she found herself drawn to the deeper, more meaningful connections that come with long-term patient care.
In urgent care, you rarely get the chance to follow a patient’s journey over time. Coming to Ormiston 医疗中心 means she can now build real continuity with patients and their families — and that’s something she’s genuinely looking forward to.
“I’m really excited about building those ongoing relationships and connections. Knowing a patient’s history, seeing their family grow — that’s what general practice is all about.”
Areas of Expertise & Interest
While Victoriya is a confident and capable generalist — comfortable seeing patients of all ages and backgrounds — she brings two particular areas of depth to her consultations. She holds a postgraduate certificate in Paediatrics, making her a great choice for families with young children. Her background in midwifery also gives her a uniquely holistic perspective on women’s health, from reproductive and hormonal concerns through to pregnancy care and beyond.
Victoriya enjoys the variety that general practice offers and welcomes patients with a broad range of health concerns — no matter how big or small.
What Excites Her About Ormiston Medical Centre
One of the things that drew Victoriya to Ormiston Medical Centre specifically is the practice’s offering of immigration medical examinations. Having worked across a number of different clinics, she is looking forward to seeing how Ormiston approaches this important service and contributing her own experience to the process.
Beyond that, it’s the culture of the team that resonated most. She wanted to join a practice where the focus is really on the patient — and Ormiston has exactly that.
Life Outside the Clinic
When she’s not in the consultation room, Victoriya lives by the same principles she encourages in her patients: looking after yourself first. A firm believer in self-care, she prioritises her own health and fitness and enjoys reading — with a particular love for books on wellness and exercise.
She’s also a proud mum, and her little one keeps her plenty busy when the workday is done. That blend of personal insight — understanding the real demands of family life, work-life balance, and staying well — means Victoriya can meet her patients not just as a doctor, but as someone who truly gets it.
Book a Consultation with Victoriya
Victoriya is now accepting new and existing patients at Ormiston Medical Centre. Whether you’re looking for a GP for yourself, your family, or a specific health concern – we’d love to welcome you.
