We are excited to welcome Dr. Aaron Ong to the Ormiston Medical team! With a strong background in general practice and a passion for patient care, Dr. Ong brings a wealth of experience and a friendly, approachable manner to our clinic. Originally from Singapore, he has built his medical career through dedication to his patients and a genuine love for the variety that general practice offers. He enjoys all aspects of medicine and values the connections he builds with people through his work.<\/span><\/em><\/p>

Why Ormiston Medical?<\/b><\/h2>

\u00a0Dr. Ong was drawn to Ormiston Medical as he wanted to move closer to home. Through a recommendation at the GP college, he was introduced to Dr. Daniel Calder<\/a>, and from there, everything fell into place. Now settled at Ormiston Medical, Dr. Ong is enjoying the fantastic team, purpose-built facilitities and welcoming environment and is glad to be part of the local community.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Excited for the Journey Ahead<\/b><\/h2>

\u00a0As he begins his new role, Dr. Ong is most excited about getting to know the team and understanding the diverse patient base that Ormiston Medical serves. Having transitioned to a new clinic once before, he looks forward to continuing his journey in general practice, meeting new patients, and delivering excellent care. He appreciates the collaborative and supportive atmosphere at Ormiston Medical and is eager to contribute to the team\u2019s success. With a special interest in ophthalmology<\/a>, Dr. Ong is also keen to apply his expertise to support patients with eye health concerns, further enhancing the comprehensive care offered at the clinic.<\/span><\/p>

Life Outside of Medicine<\/b><\/h2>

Dr. Ong speaks English fluently and conversational Mandarin, making him a great addition to our diverse and multicultural team.
