After many years of service, the long-standing owners, Dr Charles Williams and Dr Franklin Fung, have sold the practice. As a result, the Vincent St Family Doctors clinic has closed and all enrolled patients have moved to Ormiston Medical Centre GP clinic \u2013 211 Ormiston Rd, Flatbush<\/b> from <\/span>Monday 30 March 2026<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>

We are welcoming former Vincent St Family Doctor patients to our Ormiston Medical GP clinic (211 Ormiston Rd). Dr Franklin Fung and our team look forward to providing ongoing care. As a welcome gift, we are pleased to offer patients who were at Vincent Street Family Doctors, a FREE flu vaccination and\/or nurse health assessment. Dr Charles Williams has cared for generations of families over many years and he has now made the decision to retire.<\/p>

Dr Williams began his medical journey at the University of Otago, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) in 1976. He entered general practice in December 1977, embarking on what would become a lifelong commitment to caring for families across generations. In 1999, he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP), recognising his experience, professionalism, and significant contribution to primary care.<\/p>

Throughout his career, Dr Williams has been more than a doctor\u2014he has been a trusted advisor, a steady presence, and a familiar face to countless patients and their wh\u0101nau. His ability to build lasting relationships and provide thoughtful, patient-centred care has made a meaningful difference in the lives of so many.<\/p>

As a long-standing owner of Vincent Street Family Doctors, Dr Williams has also played a vital role in shaping the practice and ensuring high-quality care in Howick alongside fellow GP Dr Franklin Fung. Dr Williams commitment has helped create a strong foundation that will continue into the future.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We are pleased to let you know that Dr Franklin Fung will continue practising. He will begin seeing patients at Ormiston Medical Centre from Wednesday 1 April 2026.
